Preston Guild Wheel and Cycling Festival

The Guild Wheel will provide a surface of around 21 miles for off road cycling and walking, with the spokes of the wheel eventually providing safe access from all parts of Preston – encouraging people to leave cars at home and providing a legacy and health benefit for Prestonians.

Work on the £4m Guild Wheel is now under way, supported by Lancashire and Preston Council, NHS Lancashire and private sector investment. The Wheel will open during the Guild year with a festival of cycling, bicycle ballet, walking, physical activity and a focus on the countryside of Preston.
